I want to go back to the days when I was in secondary school. Back to the time when I don't care how I look like and how others will look at me. I felt like I've change a lot. I've become more self conscious, in a bad way. I've realised I don't have to be that self conscious. I'm neither trying to please anyone nor to fufill any sort of expectations. And,I never compare myself to any airbrushed models. I want people who wants to be my friend to take my for who I am and not what I look like. Every morning I will spend 5-10 mins of my time to wax my hair, but now I think it's such a waste of time. I don't want to care about it anymore, just let it be. I hope I can change and I know it takes time.

I don't wanna be changed by the world or by some distinct group of homo sapiens.

I want to be me.

I don't like what I'm feeling right now. Feel like I need someone badly whom I can tell my fustration to, but the person is just not there. Like no one can be trusted. Just when I found someone, it turns out that he is just another typical hypocrite. What to do? AH. Damnn it.

I really need to focus more on my cello now. I find that I'm really deproving and it's demoralising. And my driving license, gotta get it going man. 2 weeks of hols so what? Suddenly it's like so many things crashing down on me. I'm suffocating.

It is a kindness from God which we DON'T deserve.

There is NOTHING we have done, nor we can EVER do to earn this.

All you need to do is to recieve it and it will be given to you.

It is a gift from God- that is why it is called GRACE.

So why would God give you Grace? Who are you that God must give you His Grace?

Went to Hong Kong Study Trip briefing today.

The BAD part: Almost ALL of the places in the itinery I went before already and going there again it's like a waste of time? (Ok lah, apart from the 2 Universites and 2 Hospitals)

The GOOD part: They changed the airline to Cathay Pacific! Initially was United Airlines which, sucks. And and, we're staying in a 4-star hotel. Lol, heng leh, if not I don't dare to sleep at night! Haha!

Got one extra lecturer coming with us. You know who? SUKHDEV! I think she go there SHOPPING only. You know why?? Because we talked about the GST in HK then I said HK don't have 7% GST. Then immediately the Sukhdev ask the tour leader "Is it true, is it true, is it true, is it true?!" LOL, need ask so many times meh. ==.=

I will be going to 2 countries during this holiday- Hong Kong and Zurich.

I REALLY wish I can stay longer in Zurich to accompany my sister and to cheer for her marathon, but school just need to start at the right time. Arg.

Today my friends and I talked about marriage.

We discussed about our plans, plans for marriage.

So most of them want to get married before age 25.

As for me, I've no plans as of now. I'm glad that this topic was being brought up because it really hit me hard. I don't think marriage is a big part of my life. I can leave without it because it's not part of my "life plan".

My "life plan" is to graduate from NP and then hopefully get into degree in dentistry at NUS. I know it's not easy to get in, like almost impossible. But I've been trying to strive for it by keeping my GPA >3.5. And, I did it in Sem 1.

Say, if I can't get into the degree then maybe I'll continue to pursue nursing. But I don't want just a degree. I want more than that like at least a Master or PhD degree.

And then I'll get a good job that pays well and enjoy the rest of my life by myself and my family.

I thank you for everything You've given me. I'm thankful to the good because You have given me so much. I'm thankful for the bad because they just made me a stronger person than I was before. In this new year, I pray that Your Grace will continue to be upon my family and I. I pray for their health to be as good as before and I pray for Your mercy to be upon them as they continue to fufil the purposes you had given to them. I pray that You will lead them to where they need to go and know that no matter what challenges they may face, You are the One whom they can turn to and be trusted upon.

I also pray for my friends and I that You will help us to always have a positive attitude, to study to the best of our abilities. And to always remember that Your Grace is sufficient to meet every difficulty we may face. I pray that although we may part to prepare for Year 2 in Nursing, let us always remember each other and the good times we had together.

This is random.

Normally if you have a crush on someone, you will try your very best to be around that person and take a glimpse of his/her every actions to know what that person is doing right? You would want to know where he/she is heading to for the next few minutes or hours right?

I think I'm the opposite of these. (er, except for the latter)

I would avoid that person and try my very best to not be around that person. So I wouldnt have a glimpse of that person or whatsoever. I think I would want to know where that person is heading to after that. However ultimately, I'll try the unconventional ways to let that person know "I like you"- maybe like, hoping that one day the person will know "I like you".

Okay, so after school we went to the Open House. We planned to act as if we were secondary school students so that we could grab some freebies. LOL.

Clubbing

My friend asked me to go clubbing with him and I rejected him. That's because I think I wouldn't like that kind of place. Besides, I'm underage too.

Why?

1) Clubbing- dancing? Hm, not a good idea for me. I can't dance.

2) Clubbing- drinking? Sorry, I don't drink. I hate the taste of liquor. I think it tastes like some kind of traditional chinese medicine, only more bitter. Seriously, I can't really quite understand why people like drinking. Is it because they like the aftermath of getting high(which is actually just the feeling of having damage to the central nervous system)? Or is it these people have the idiotic idea of drink, drank, drunk = "OMG, I look so friggin' cool because I'm drunk now!" Oh gawd, who needs that!? After all, it's just like an anesthetic drug.

PS: OK, with the exception of fruit cocktails. Coz, I love those. ;)

3) Clubbing- crowded? Crowded places turns me off.

4) Clubbing- broaden your social circle, meet some hot dudes and dudettes. Er, I think I'm one of those very unsociable homo sapiens around. I don't know how to bring up any interesting topic to talk about, or rather, I don't know what is interesting to them. So, in situation like this, it can be weird. OH AND, I don't like talking to strangers.

5) Clubbing- a way to relax, to let your hair down. I think swimming or jogging are ways too.

As much as I think for me to go clubbing, would be like asking a Penguin to the Sahara Desert, one day I'd still wanna experience for myself the real thing. Maybe I'd like it. Well, God knows.

Today I swam like crazy because the pool was effing empty.

Like really, really empty. I swam as many laps as I want in all the funny directions, lol. What, so it ain't called "laps" already? Oh well....

And, I'm gonna swim everyday for the next week with my Dad. It's great that his holidays are the same as mine so we could spend some quality time together. But damn, his school is starting earlier- 2nd Jan. Ah.

OMG WORLD WIDE SHOCKING NEWS!

Tweenies all over are outraged over news of a Filipino version of Twilight for television set to begin production soon.

Actors Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao will be portraying Edward and Isabella, respectively, in the ABS-CBN production which will treat the vampire love story as "drama, romance, and fantasy."

It will be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina and is scheduled to begin filming sometime in February, in both the Philippines and abroad.

New Year's Shopping Spree

O Gawd. I spent the whole day shopping. Er no, not whole day actually, it's half.

Because I went to the most boring-est-est-est Xmas party in the morning, at the "HQ" of SGH. Man, it's super lame and boring. You don't wanna know what we are told to do. But luckily, we're smart enough to sneak away during the refreshment break. (Did I just said sneak? That sounds wrong, we did tell the person incharge about our getaway and I guess that's not a furtive manner. So yea, ignore the sneak.) ;)

So after that about 12pm+ I went to meet you-know-who and we literally, covered almost, all the, shopping malls in, Orchard. From Far East Plaza all the way to Wisma Atria. You name it.

And this is one of the craziest-est-est shopping spree in my life till now- I bought 1 shirt and 1 cardigan from Esprit, 1 tee shirt from Flesh Imp and 2 shorts at Zeniz.

OMG, don't ask me. I think I'm crazy too. But, I like what I bought. Eh?!

You-know-who bought a vest. That vest is freakin' hot. Usually I don't wear vests but I think I'm kinda in love with it as of now. Heh.

So to sum it up, I spent a bomb today and I'm deadly broke or broke deadly. But the thing is I've still got to get myself a decent pair of shoes/ flip flops to match the clothes. So I may be going for another spree before 5th Jan. Damn.

PS: Did I say these clothes are for Chinese New Year? Yea, they are. I'd like to think that way because it makes me a little less crazier. Hah. But really, they are.

Today I went for a hair cut.

And, I watched Twilight again. This time, I'm not late for it. Managed to catch some interesting commercials before it actually started. This is good- I did not miss anything.

It is as awesome as before (for me it is). Or maybe it's Spunk Ransom? Lol, likely.

I found something which I think it's funny. Down.

PETER: So vampires would never eat food, unless they are trying to fool humans? They would never eat at home?

STEPH Meyer: No, of course not.

PETER: Huh.

PETER: Well...when we were filming one of the scenes in the Cullen house, Esme brought me a bowl of Raisin Bran. I was eating it through the whole scene. I don't think they could cut around it, because I was chewing through some of my lines... I guess that wouldn't make a ton of sense for Carlisle to do, though, would it?
